The heavy-hitters of the e-bike world, Class 3 e-bikes are the quickest and often most powerful among the three classes. The motor on Class 3 e-bikes, which are pedal assist only and do not have throttles, doesn\u2019t cut out until you hit 28 mph. Some bikes in this class are also considered Class 2 e-bikes, as they have a throttle that stops working at 20 mph in addition to the pedal assist.<\/p>\n
